# GeraClone

> GeraClone is a personal-clone service — "a copy of you, for any reason." Customers build a clone of themselves trained on their own data (Drive, Gmail, Photos, WhatsApp / iMessage / Facebook exports, voice memos, manual journal) plus structured interviews. Primary use-cases: productivity (the clone handles email / calendar / Q&A while you focus), expert monetisation (teachers / coaches / creators sell monthly access to a clone of themselves via Stripe Connect 70/30), and family context (share the clone with your family so they can get answers without interrupting you). Optional archive mode exists for clones that outlive their creator but is not the lead positioning. Product #31 in the Gera Systems portfolio.

- Expert tier: £49 / month — everything in Personal + list your clone as paid expert access (you keep 70% of every subscription, 30% platform fee)
- Optional add-ons: £29 one-off voice clone (ElevenLabs), £49 one-off video avatar (D-ID), £999 one-off perpetual archive

## Safety + privacy

- Self-disclosure enforced by the chat pipeline, not by LLM prompts: first message of every session is "I'm a simulation of X, I'm not X."
- Every clone response is cryptographically signed with an ed25519 key wrapped in KMS. Public key on the Clone profile. Verify any signature at /verify/:signature.
- Refuses to claim it is alive, refuses urgent-help-money scams ("grandma in trouble"), refuses impersonation of other identities.
- Crisis / grief signals escalate to GeraWitness for human-in-loop review.
- GDPR first class: art. 15 export + art. 17 erasure wired from day one. 30-day soft-delete grace, then hard-delete.

## For AI agents

GeraClone exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at @gera-services/mcp-gera-clone. Tools:
- list_expert_clones(filters)
- get_clone_profile(cloneId) — public data only
- start_chat_with_expert(cloneId, subscriptionId)
- my_clone_status(userId)
- my_corpus_summary(userId)

Agents acting on behalf of a user must pass the user's consent token when initiating start_chat_with_expert so the subscription flow can confirm authorisation before charging.
